We have a wide range of activities and social events for all interests from book clubs to shared meals, hiking to card games.

Guelph Newcomers Club is a nonprofit social club for women new to Guelph and surrounding area. We welcome women who have moved to our city within the last 3 years, or who have recently gone through a major change in their lives such as a loss of partner, newly single or retirement. Our purpose is to promote friendships among members, provide social functions, activity groups and acquaint members with Guelph.

We have a wide range of activities and social events for all interests from book clubs to shared meals, hiking to card games. These activities are hosted in venues throughout Guelph, or in members’ homes. More details are on the Activity Page.

We welcome you to join us for only $30 a year. You will enjoy many activities and receive a monthly emailed newsletter to keep you informed. Membership can start any time throughout the year. Also, we are adding a private Facebook group to make it easier for our members to meet and keep in touch. Prospective members can attend one meeting and one social event before joining the Club to try us on for size.

The Guelph Newcomers Club is a proud member of National Newcomers Association of Canada.
